I am looking for a Personal Assistant to support me to both in my home and in the community to experience the outside world, and to support me with visiting my Autistic son, who I look after.
I live in Woodbridge, and I am seeking a Personal Assistant to support me both in my home and out and about. I am a wheelchair user.
I would like my Personal Assistant to take me out and drive my minibus to take me to appointments, occasionally pick up medication from the chemist, take me shopping and to lunch. I would also like my Personal Assistant to support me to visit my Autistic son, who I look after.
My Personal Assistant will be required to support me with housework. When I am having a bad day, my Personal Assistant will be required to support me in the shower.
My Personal Assistant will also be required to walk, clean up after and support me to wash my small dog.
I do not smoke, so a non-smoker is required for this role.
The successful candidate will be responsible to me as the employer.
Hours, days and times of work: 11 hours per week - flexible days but ideally to be worked 10am-5pm Wednesdays and 10am-2pm on Thursdays.
Pay rate: £13.55 per hour
Annual leave: The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work normally done during 5.6 weeks (statutory entitlement).
Expenses: You will be reimbursed for prior agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
Sick pay: I do not operate a private sick pay scheme but provided you meet the eligibility criteria, you may be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay (SSP).
Pension: I do not operate a private pension scheme but I will fulfil my statutory obligations via the NEST pension scheme.
