Job description

Love & Humphries – Creative Print Specialists

We’re an ambitious print business looking for an experienced Personal Assistant to become the right hand to our Managing Director.

This is an initial 6-month role focused on bringing structure, clarity, and accountability — helping the MD work at a higher level, while building systems and routines that keep things running smoothly long-term.

If it works, the role could extend, develop, or transition to a new assistant — you’ll be the one who sets the standard.

What you’ll be doing
  • Inbox & email management – keeping the MD’s inbox lean, clear, and prioritised.
  • Diary & schedule control – managing commitments and ensuring time is well spent.
  • To‑do tracking & accountability – following up on actions and commitments.
  • Daily structure – helping the MD plan, stay on task, and reset priorities through short daily touchpoints.
  • Weekly review & reflection – looking back at what’s been achieved, what’s still open, and where focus should shift.
  • Knowledge distilling – summarising articles, updates, and reports for faster decisions.
  • System setup – building repeatable workflows and checklists future assistants can run with.
Working Rhythm

You’ll check in three times a day — around 7:30–8 am, midday, and 4:30 pm Monday–Friday (30–60 minutes each).

These touchpoints keep the MD focused, inbox clear, and the day on track.

Why join us
  • Initial 6-month term – with potential to extend, develop, or hand over once systems are embedded.
  • Flexible part‑time – 12–16 hours per week (daily check‑in required).
  • Work from home – proper setup required: computer with camera, smartphone (WhatsApp), reliable broadband.
  • Tools we use – Google Workspace, Notion, WhatsApp. Bonus if you’re a Mac/iPhone user.
  • Contract or PAYE – open to both.
  • Creative, ambitious culture – we value initiative, humour, and fresh thinking.
About you
  • Experienced PA who brings order, structure, and calm to a growing business.
  • Assertive yet diplomatic — confident pushing back when needed.
  • Systems‑minded and reflective — you improve what you touch.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Proactive, organised, and trustworthy.
