Our client, a rapidly expanding UK technology start-up based in Saffron Walden, is seeking an exceptional Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the Founder and Managing Director.

This is a broad and varied role, encompassing both executive and private assistance. The successful candidate will be proactive, highly organised and operate with the utmost discretion. Responsibilities
  • Full Executive Support: Manage the Founder's diary, inbox, meeting schedule and all follow‑ups, ensuring their time is optimised and priorities are met
  • Travel and Logistics: Coordinate all business and personal travel, including itineraries, accommodation and associated logistics
  • Private and Household Administration: Oversee a range of personal and household tasks, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations for the Founder
  • Primary Point of Contact: Act as a trusted liaison for internal stakeholders and external partners, maintaining professionalism and discretion at all times
  • Project and Priority Support: Assist with special projects, proactively identifying upcoming needs and ensuring the Founder is prepared for key deadlines and activities.
Requirements
  • A solid track record as a PA or EA, ideally supporting senior executives or entrepreneurial leaders
  • Exceptional organisational abilities, with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy
  • A high level of discretion and professionalism, with the judgement to handle sensitive information confidently
  • A proactive, resourceful approach, with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems independently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ease in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Additional languages would be an advantage, though not essential
