Job summary

Ceredigion County Council Direct Payment Support Service is seeking a care assistant to support a 40-year-old man with autism and learning difficulties. You will join a small team providing 3:1 care on a fixed schedule, 10:30 am to 5:30 pm, three days per week, including holiday and sick leave coverage.

A DBS check is required but will not delay employment. A full driving licence is essential for this role and permanent employment is offered.

Qualifications

Job description

Providing support and assistance to a 40 year old man with autism and learning difficulties. You would be part of a team providing three to one care. Hours of work are 10.30 am to 5.30 pm . This is for 3 days per week and helping to cover holidays and sick leave. There is a purpose built unit for everyone when spending time at home and a minibus for outings. Looking for a positive and outgoing person able to work in a small team. Having a willingness to learn. A dbs check will be required but won’t delay employment starting. A full driving licence is essential. This is a permanent position.
