Job summary

Leicestershire County Council in Lutterworth is seeking a Gujarati-speaking Personal Assistant to support an individual living with dementia. You will accompany social activities, assist with community access, domestic tasks, and meal preparation, while offering prompts for personal care and toilet reminders.

The role requires you to speak Gujarati (some English), have a clean driving licence, and business insurance. You will use your own vehicle with mileage reimbursed by the client.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in Gujarati; little English.
• Must have business insurance and full/clean driving licence.
• Must own vehicle.
• Dementia awareness is beneficial as the client has been diagnosed with dementia.

Job description

An individual living in the Lutterworth area requires support from a Gujarati speaking Personal Assistant. Role Requirements You will be required to support the client with:

• prompts with personal care and reminders to use the toilet

You must be able to speak Gujarati as this is the language used by the client, with a little English. They have been diagnosed with dementia. You will need to use your own vehicle so will require business insurance and a full/clean driving licence. The client will pay mileage.
