About the Position

Position Title: Bank Personal Assistant

Location: Leominster

Hourly Rate: £12.86

Hours Per Week: Part Time (21 hours a week)

About The Role

I am a young woman with complex health care needs such as Cerebral Palsy, epilepsy, and a Gastrostomy PEG feed. I require 1:1 support at all times. I live in my home with my family and have a great team of Personal Assistants who support me and understand my needs. My conditions mean I need support with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, feeding, physical activities like Hydrotherapy and Rebound therapy, and administering medication. I enjoy socialising, music, and quizzes.

About You

You should understand my medical conditions and be able to provide emotional support. A Full Manual driving licence is required as driving is involved. You should be enthusiastic, kind, patient, and have a great sense of humour to bring energy into my life. Professionalism and integrity are essential, as is promoting my independence and respecting my home. You must be able to provide 1:1 support; occasionally, 2:1 care may be needed, so teamwork is important. Experience is advantageous but not necessary, as training will be provided.

Hours Required

The shifts may vary but typically include:

  • Monday, Wednesday, or Friday: 8am-6pm
  • Saturday: 9am-9pm
  • Overnight care may be required.
