A family-oriented care service in Cheltenham seeks a compassionate caregiver to support a lady with a brain injury, ensuring her personal care and socialization. The role requires honesty, reliability, and previous caring experience. Flexible hours can be job shared; candidates must be at least 18 years old and able to drive. You will be working in a family home. We are a friendly relaxed couple who want someone who can be relied upon and treated as part of the family. We are a tired couple, she with a brain injury, he as her main carer. You will be employed to assist the lady, as, although she is mobile, she can get confused, so you must be with her, to ensure she manages her meals, medication including insulin and all round care as hours are flexible and can be job shared. We will be flexible as we believe that work must fit with the carer as well as the person being cared for.

About the Role
Only candidates aged 18 or over should apply for this position
as you will be required to administer medication.
The individual's needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.
You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately. You have a duty to report defects and / or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.
Due to the nature of the work for which you are applying, this post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure (costs will be covered).
Car driver and car owner – must have business insurance.
Be flexible with length of shift, able to work a long shift or a short one depending on need.
Successful candidates are required to undertake any training that is considered necessary and appropriate to the role.
First Aid. PA must already hold relevant qualification.
