About The Role

To provide proficient personal assistant support to the Global Investor Relations Director. This is a varied and challenging role which requires a high degree of proactivity, flexibility, initiative and confidentiality. PA roles at Diageo are critical to the smooth running of our business; it is a varied role, with ample opportunities to grow and maximise the impact of the leaders and teams you support. The world of work is changing, and the ways in which you can contribute to the success of the business is also. Getting to grips and understanding the business areas you support will be key, in order to support your leader, their meetings and projects.

Top Accountabilities
  • Effective diary management - emphasis on anticipating needs and understanding complex priorities
  • Scheduling recurring and ad-hoc internal and external meetings, ensuring consideration of the time zones of those attending
  • Interacting with colleagues in Corporate Relations around the world as part of organising meetings, conferences, and gathering information from the markets as needed
  • Booking meeting rooms, logging external visitors and organising catering (if required), and also assisting with external meeting logistics including investors with CEO and CFO
  • Travel, visa and accommodation management and co-ordination using preferred airlines/hotels and aligned with budget
  • Timely processing of expenses via Concur
  • Raising purchase orders using Coupa as needed in a timely, accurate and compliant manner, budget awareness and tracking
  • Co-ordinate information and business flows to the wider Global Brand and Communications and Spirit of Progress teams
  • Managing routine one-off and recurring tasks, including resolving issues and implementing comprehensive solutions
  • Management and organisation of internal and external events e.g., c, training days, offsite meetings and team celebrations

  • Be creative and proactive in finding solutions to issues faced by the leaders you support and develop and apply an understanding of the function to your work
  • Highly organised and self-motivated, with an ability to anticipate, effectively prioritise and progress workload
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity, compliance, discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to tactfully and assertively prioritise core duties for those you support
  • Resilience through changes in direction, decisions and priorities
  • Experience working with; Concur, Condeco, Coupa, Outlook & Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Teams & virtual meeting tools (e.g., Zoom)
