Role and Requirements

This role is to support a Woman. The candidate should be a woman. Drivers licence required: Yes. Own vehicle needed: Yes. Employment status: employed.

Hours

Hours per week: 2-3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) or flexible depending on individual needs. Hours: Between 4:00PM/4:30PM to 6:00PM/6:30PM, approx. 2 hours per day with possible 3 hours for outings in summer. Occasional flexibility for appointments or extra support. No evening or weekend work required.

Pay

Hourly pay rate: £15

  • Assisting Mum and toddler to go out (weather permitting) safely to local park or area
  • Helping with outings (e.g., walks, playgroups, appointments)
Light Household Tasks
  • Tidying up toys and common areas
  • Light cleaning (e.g., wiping surfaces, washing up, sweeping)
  • Laundry and folding clothes
  • Keeping the home environment safe and organised
Occasional Tasks
  • Accompanying mum and toddler to local appointments, shops, or activities

Additional requirements

Non-smoker due to medical reasons, non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours.

If successful, you will be engaged directly or employed by the individual employer and not by Independent Lives. The role may be offered on an employed or self-employed basis, depending on suitability and agreement with the employer. If employed, you will be entitled to holiday pay and issued an employment contract.
