Hillingdon Council is seeking Personal Advisors to join the Transition to Adulthood Service, working with care-experienced young people aged 21 and over. This is a permanent, full-time role with strong leadership support and clear career progression.

We are seeking committed and enthusiastic Personal Advisorsto join our Transition to Adulthood Service to specifically work with careexperienced adults aged 21+.
Hillingdon'sTransition to Adulthood Service is committed to supporting care-experiencedyoung people to achieve successful, independent and fulfilling adult lives. Wework alongside young people aged 16 to 25, providing practical support,guidance and advocacy to help them navigate key life transitions includinghousing, education, employment, training, health and emotional wellbeing. Werecognise that the transition into adulthood does not end at 21 and so tostrengthen our offer, we are developing a dedicated approach for young peopleaged 21 to 25 that focuses on early intervention, prevention and sustainedengagement. This will enable us to maintain meaningful relationships with youngpeople, proactively identify emerging needs and risks, and re-engage those whomay have become disconnected from services.
Working closelywith housing providers, health services, education and employment partners,community organisations and wider council services, the team will coordinatesupport that is tailored to each young person's individual circumstances andgoals. Our approach is strengths-based, relationship-focused and centred onempowering young people to make informed decisions and maximise theiropportunities.
As aPersonal Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting young people toachieve their aspirations and navigate the opportunities and challenges ofadulthood.
