Job summary

Network Plus is recruiting a Permitting Team Leader to manage a team of permit administrators delivering statutory permitting duties under Streetworks legislation. Based at Lingley Mere, Warrington, you will lead operations, ensure coverage and keep the team aligned with field activities.

The role requires knowledge of the New Road and Street Works Act, Highway Permit Schemes and experience with Street Manager, plus strong communication and organisational skills to mentor staff and handle

Qualifications

Experience of running and mentoring a team.
Knowledge of New Road and Street Works Act and Highway Permit Schemes.
Experience of Street Manager is essential.
Ability to prioritise workload and work under tight time pressures.
Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Manage and efficiently resource the team, including weekend requirements, ensuring the office operation has adequate coverage, aligning to the field operation.
Ensure compliance is maintained in line with contractual KPIs.
Lead and mentor staff and deal with queries from stakeholders.
Coordinate with field operations and relevant departments to ensure smooth workflow.
