A local government authority in Nottingham is seeking a Permit Support Officer to manage on-street parking permits and blue badges. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent customer service and administrative skills, working independently within a busy team. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential for this role.
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Worker Type: Onsite Worker
Salary: Starting Salary is £25,583 (Level one) rising to £26,403 per annum (pro rata for part-time)

The City Council provides a variety of services to citizens. All of these services require administrative and customer-facing support. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Permit Support Officer to deal with all aspects of issuing on-street parking permits and blue badges to citizens and dealing with other administrative support across the Parking Regulation & Compliance team.
The role will involve working with our busy customer-facing team providing administrative support and excellent customer service skills to citizens who make contact with the service. The successful applicant will need to work on their own initiative with minimum supervision to meet tight deadlines therefore, the ability to prioritise their own workload is essential.
