The role requires experience with slitting and/or decoiling machinery and a commitment to producing high-quality work while upholding health and safety standards. It offers a permanent contract and rotating shifts with a £13-£14 per hour pay rate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating slitting, decoiling or coil processing machinery is essential.
• Experience within a steel, metal processing or manufacturing environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Operate large-scale slitting and decoiling machinery safely and efficiently.
• Set up and run machinery to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Carry out quality inspections throughout the production process.
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved.
• Lead by example and assist with training new members of the team.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth production operations.
