Job description
Electrical Project Manager - £75,000-£80,000 + package

London (Dagenham & East India Docks) | Data centre campus

We're hiring a delivery-focused Electrical Project Manager to run critical power and fit-out packages across a live data-centre campus. Pace, coordination and clean handovers are the brief.

What you'll run day-to-day (Electrical PM)
  • Programme & sequencing: two- to four-week look-aheads, area drops and access planning; coordinate risers, plant lifts, deliveries and energisation windows.
  • Subcontractor leadership: chair progress/coordination meetings; set production targets; track labour, materials and off-site manufacture to hit milestones.
  • Quality control: ITPs, hold/witness points, snag prevention, red-lines/as-builts; verify schedules, protection settings and asset registers match install.
  • Technical admin: submittals/samples, long-lead trackers, O&M data capture and closure of technical queries; accurate monthly reports/forecasts to upstream leadership.
  • Health & Safety: RAMS reviews, permits (hot works/WAH), daily briefings/TBTs, housekeeping in congested voids/risers; CDM and environmental compliance.
  • Commissioning management: author and drive the Cx plan; pre-commissioning checks, functional testing, BMS IO/alarms/graphics; orchestrate black-building tests and client witnessing to PC, then seasonal commissioning.
What you know cold
  • Mission-critical electrical infrastructure in live environments: UPS, LV switchgear, busbar, distribution, monitoring and controls.
  • Data-centre delivery constraints: uptime, staged energisations, access controls and zero-defect handover culture.
  • UK compliance and best practice for safety, quality and environmental management.
  • Tools & reporting: look-aheads, QA and commissioning trackers; confident with common planning/office platforms.

Why you'll want to work here
  • Employee-owned culture: participation in an Employee Ownership Trust after 12 months, aligning everyone to long-term success.
  • Integrated delivery: principal-contractor management with in-house trades for faster decisions and smoother interfaces on live projects.
  • Critical-environment pedigree: established teams built around uptime, compliance and safe changeovers on complex campuses.
  • Safety first: mature health, safety and environmental systems that go beyond minimum standards.
  • Stable, certified and established: long UK footprint with robust quality, environmental and safety management systems.
