Job summary

Pulse is seeking a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist (Acute Care & Oncology) to join the Manchester team. You will deliver high-quality clinical pharmacy services across oncology and acute care pathways within a specialist multidisciplinary environment.

The role requires GPhC registration and acute hospital experience; oncology/acute medicine experience is desirable. 37.5 hours/week, permanent contract, some on-call/late shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• BPharm, MPharm, or BSc in Pharmacy.
• Acute hospital experience required.
• Experience in oncology and/or acute medicine highly desirable.
• Membership of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services across oncology and acute care.
• Support the delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of clinical pharmacy services.
• Act as a clinical role model and contribute to the supervision and teaching of pharmacy, nursing, and medical staff.
• Support implementation and optimisation of medicine management systems.
• Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and protocol/guideline implementation.
