Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Peripatetic Service Manager to oversee supported living services across Stamford and Peterborough. The successful candidate will ensure CQC compliance and provide operational support and leadership to Service Managers. Qualifications

Job description

As a Peripatetic Service Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving standards across multiple supported living services. You'll work closely with Service Managers and Registered Managers, and local teams to ensure outstanding care, CQC compliance, and strong leadership.

This is a hands‑on, varied role, ideal for a motivated and adaptable manager who thrives on supporting others, driving quality, and ensuring every person we support lives a fulfilling and independent life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support and operational oversight across multiple Supported Living services, as and when required.
  • Support and mentor Service Managers, Deputy Managers and Team Leaders to achieve outstanding care outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and Glenholme's own quality expectations.
  • Lead on service improvement and development projects.
  • Step in to manage services during periods of absence, transition, or change.
  • Build positive relationships with families, commissioners, and external professionals.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Peripatetic Service Manager to join our Supported Living division, providing leadership support and operational support across services for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs within the Stamford and Peterborough areas.

Qualifications
  • Experienced as a Registered Manager or Service Manager within Learning Disabilities or Supported Living settings.
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and person‑centred care.
  • A proactive, compassionate leader with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to work flexibly across multiple locations.
  • Have a minimum of an NVQ Level 3, or equivalent degree/qualification in Health & Social Care, Social Work, OT, or nursing.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (travel required between services).
