Job Summary

This vacancy is open internally to employees of the following organisations within the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care System for 7 calendar days from 11/11/2025 to 17/11/2025. After that it will be open externally. Role not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities
  • Provide confidential and efficient reception and administration service, communicating with clients and visitors in person and over the telephone.
  • Follow instructions, prioritise work and demonstrate initiative.
  • Support all clinical and non‑clinical teams: taking messages, booking appointments, meet & greet service and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Travel between Porthill Clinic and Longton Health Centre as required.
  • Carry out general reception duties, responding to enquiries over the telephone and face‑to‑face.
  • Receive visitors, officials and contractors on behalf of the Trust.
  • Support room bookings and allocation.
  • Take and relay messages, prioritising as appropriate.
  • Liaise with staff at all levels throughout the Trust.
  • Use clinical systems to support booking of patients at various clinics/departments.
  • Provide administrative support to health professionals, including sending sensitive reports.
  • Data inputting.
Qualifications and Training
  • IT skills to RSA 2 level.
  • Educated to NVQ 2 level in office procedures or equivalent experience.
  • Good communication skills.
Experience
  • Previous administrative and clerical experience.
  • Word processing and data inputting experience.
  • Ability to liaise at all levels.
  • Customer interface experience.
  • Problem solving experience.
  • Computer literate.
