Felsted School has a thriving music department and we are currently looking for a Peripatetic Music Teacher of Harp. The school has a strong tradition of orchestral and instrumental music and the students have many opportunities to perform as soloists and in ensembles. Pupils often work towards ABRSM and Trinity exams. We are looking for a teacher with considerable experience of teaching at all levels of ability (particularly in inspiring beginners), and with the initiative, vision and the ability to build on the success of our thriving department and contribute to its further development. We particularly welcome applications from those who can teach across all ABRSM and Trinity grades. Like many of our peripatetic staff, you may well perform professionally and will certainly have the confidence, credibility and technical expertise to encourage participation to enable each pupil to reach his or her musical potential.
