We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Peripatetic Guitar Teacher to join our thriving Music Department at The East Manchester Academy. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented musician and educator to inspire students through high-quality guitar tuition, developing their technical ability, musical understanding and confidence as performers.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging one-to-one and small-group guitar lessons to students of varying ages and abilities, supporting beginners through to more advanced musicians. You will be passionate about encouraging musical progression, fostering a love of music and helping students prepare for performances, concerts, examinations and other enrichment opportunities.
We are looking for an accomplished guitarist with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who can motivate and engage young people from diverse backgrounds. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching guitar in a school, music service or private tuition setting, a strong understanding of contemporary and traditional repertoire, and the ability to tailor lessons to meet individual learning needs.
