Highland Hospital a 261 bed community teaching hospital and affiliate of the University Of Rochester Medical Center is recruiting for a Perioperative Support Tech to join our team.

The Highland Hospital Operating Room offers up a fast paced, exciting, and collaborative work environment. Become part of a team where cutting edge technology is used and surgeries are performed daily in our recently expanded facility which features 17 state of the art operating rooms.

We are seeking candidates who are able to work full time day/evening rotation Monday through Friday with weekend/holiday call. Highland has a rich history of providing compassionate, personalized patient care and is honored with Magnet designation. Apply now for immediate consideration.

Supports patient care in the Pre-anesthesia and OR areas by gathering supplies and equipment, assisting with room turnover, setting up specialty beds as needed, and transporting patients, instrumentation and supplies. Maintains the safety and cleanliness of the environment in the OR suite in accordance to regulations set forth by department and hospital policy.

Pay Range: $19.27 - $ 24.95

*The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Qualifications
  • Education: High School diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 6 months previous related experience preferred.
  • License/Certification: American Heart Association BLS/CPR Certification Required.
  • Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, able to lift, bend stand, walk for extended periods of time. Mechanical aptitude; Must be a team player.
