Airedale NHS Foundation Trust is seeking staff to support perioperative care, performing clerical and patient care activities under supervision within a complex surgical environment.

The role supports a 24-hour service over a 7-day period, with opportunities to develop knowledge and skills through the Trust's commitment to staff development and collaborative working with NHS partners.

To undertake a range of duties including clerical and patient care activities under the direct supervision of a Registered Practitioner ODP, Nurse or a Senior Perioperative Care Assistant. Theatre Support staff will assist the Registered Practitioners to deliver patient care and prepare the environment in which care is delivered. In pursuing these duties, the post holder will ensure compliance with the NHS Constitution and be familiar with the NHS England Guidance 'Understanding the new NHS'.
