Job summary

mydentist Padiham Road in Burnley seeks a Specialist Periodontist or DWSI to join a friendly, forward-thinking team in East Lancashire’s only Advanced Oral Health Centre. Work within a modern practice offering NHS and private care, with specialist services and a strong referral base.

The role provides private potential, access to The mydentist Academy, and cross-referral collaboration across multiple disciplines, supported by a large clinical network and central teams.

Qualifications

• Specialist Periodontist or DWSI required to join our multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience in private dentistry and high-level perio care is advantageous.
• Ability to work within a supportive, modern environment and with cross-referral pathways.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced periodontal treatments and implant-related care.
• Collaborate with orthodontics, endodontics, and surgery specialists.
• Support private patients and contribute to Academy training opportunities.

We’re looking for a Specialist Periodontist or DWSI to join our friendly and forward-thinking team at our {my}dentist Padiham Road practice in Burnley. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in East Lancashire’s only Advanced Oral Health Centre, offering specialist care in a supportive and modern environment.

About the Practice

• A large, well-established and welcoming practice, proud to serve as East Lancashire’s only Advanced Oral Health Centre

• Surgery space available once per month – @ideally on Fr@idays, with flexibility depending on availability

• A broad scope of dentistry under one roof – from NHS treatments to {my}options Private Dental Care and Premium Private Dental Care

• Expertise across multiple disciplines including:

  • Orthodontics (fixed appliances, Invisalign, ClearCorrect)

  • Implantology, Periodontics, Endodontics, Oral Surgery and Sedation

  • Cosmetic Dentistry – Composite Bonding and whitening systems (Philips Zoom, Boutique and Enlighten)

  • Facial Aesthetics consultations

• A multi-disciplinary clinical team, including Dentists, Specialists, Treatment Co-ordinators, and a full team of Student, Qualified and Advanced Nurses

• Disabled parking and access, plus free general parking for all patients and clinicians
