Job summary

Ark All Saints Academy in London is seeking a motivated Piano Teacher to join a small team and deliver high-quality piano lessons across individual and ensemble settings. You will plan and deliver sessions, monitor progress, and strive for excellent results for all pupils.

The role focuses on creating a nurturing learning environment, supporting pupil development, and contributing to school concerts and music events. Applicants should be committed to academic excellence and inclusive practices.

Qualifications

• Piano teaching experience or ability to teach piano to individual pupils and groups.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging music lessons and monitor pupil progress.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Piano Teacher with a commitment to academic excellence and helping every child succeed. Working as part of a small team, you will pay an important part in delivering the Music provision. You will plan and deliver high quality lessons and be committed to achieving excellent results for students. Instilling in them the subject and a desire to learn.

Our ideal candidate will

• Plan, resource, arrange music for and deliver imaginative, interactive and inspiring whole class vocal lessons
• Be accountable for pupil progress and attainment levels of pupils in the Academy Ensemble and those who receive instrumental lessons
• Provide a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that helps pupils to develop as learners.
• Maintain/establish positive behaviour for learning across the whole Academy.
• Support pupils in the acquisition and development of learning dispositions and positive character traits.
• Provide stimulating and enriching extracurricular opportunities for pupils and potentially for members of the wider school community.
• Actively support concerts and music events at the Academy.
