Job summary

St Marylebone CE School in London is seeking a self-employed cello and piano tutor to teach one-to-one with Year 7–13 pupils. The post is fixed at two days per week, delivering 30 lessons across three terms, on a Monday-Tuesday slot.

You will prepare students for ABRSM exams and GCSE/A Level performances, and may lead an advanced string group. Cello specialist, with excellent teaching and communication skills, is essential.

Qualifications

A self-employed cello and piano tutor is needed in the Music Faculty of St Marylebone CE School, teaching one-to-one across Years 7 to 13. Lessons cover a range of styles and prepare students for ABRSM, GCSE and A Level performances. The post is fixed at two days a week, ideally Mondays and Tuesdays, for 30 lessons across three terms, alongside 19 peripatetic teachers. Cello specialism is essential, and visa sponsorship is not available.
