A high achieving multicultural school in the UK is seeking a Performing Arts Technician. The successful candidate will support the Drama Department by assisting with scheduling, supervising rehearsals, and managing stock control to enhance the student experience. This role is essential in providing a conducive environment for all performing arts activities. The position is term time only, 12 hours per week, and offers a fixed-term contract until August 2026.
12 hours per week term time only. Scale H2, £28,617, which is £8,158.71 pa pro rata.
Required for an immediate start for a fixed term until 31st August 2026.
We are looking for a Performing Arts Technician to provide support to the Drama Department and the Arts Faculty. This is a key role, with the successful candidate taking a lead in supporting all students including our SEND, disadvantaged and harder to reach students. The Performing Arts Technician will assist with the scheduling and supervision of rehearsals for all extra‑curricular events and Drama GCSE and A‑Level examination groups. The Performing Arts Technician will also lead on stock control, processing orders, creating a conducive Performing Arts atmosphere and supporting Drama teachers behind the scenes and in the classroom to improve students' experience and attainment.
