The Role

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Performing Arts Technician to support the delivery of outstanding performing arts provision across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, maintain, and manage sound, lighting, and AV systems for productions, assemblies, and events.
  • Provide technical support for rehearsals, concerts, school shows, and external bookings.
  • Assist staff and students with the safe and effective use of performing arts equipment.
  • Ensure all performances and events run smoothly and to a professional standard.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and upkeep of the school's technical resources.

  • Previous experience in a technical theatre, events, or performing arts environment.
  • Strong understanding of lighting and sound equipment, including troubleshooting and rigging.
