Job summary

As a Performance Test Engineer, you will design, execute and analyse non‑functional test workloads to support Accenture’s delivery of high‑quality services to a variety of private and public sector clients. The role is on‑site at Accenture’s Newcastle Cobalt Business Park (three days per week) with hybrid working enabled.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead preparation, execution and review of performance testing activities.
  • Identify issues, risks and recommend mitigating actions.
  • Analyse results and present clear, easy‑to‑read reports to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project teams using agile and/or waterfall principles.
  • Support the integration of performance data into client‑facing analytics.
Required skills and experience
  • Skilled in performance tooling such as JMeter, NeoLoad, LoadRunner, Rational PerfTester, K6 or Workload Scheduler.
  • Experience with analytics tooling such as Splunk, Google Analytics, Dynatrace, Grafana or Kibana.
  • Defect/issue lifecycle experience with JIRA, Bugzilla or HP ALM.
  • Strong technical curiosity and the ability to conduct deep technical analysis of infrastructure performance.
  • Proven leadership in implementing non‑functional test strategies and test plans.
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and work under tight deadlines.
