Job summary

Arm Limited is seeking experienced software engineers to build Telemetry tools that shape how performance evaluation is done on Arm platforms. We develop Arm’s Telemetry solution—a set of open‑source reference tools that demonstrate performance methodologies across compute subsystems.

Engineers own large features end-to-end, work with architects and analysis teams, and validate methodologies with targeted microbenchmarks.

Qualifications

• Strong Python for tooling, data processing and automation.
• Comfortable in C/C++ to reason across kernel and userspace performance.
• Proficient debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience shipping developer-facing tools and iterating with real users.
• Experience owning complex features end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Build & evolve Telemetry solution to enable performance methodologies.
• Work with architects and analysis teams to translate findings into features, tests, and documentation.
• Validate performance methodologies with synthetic workloads and microbenchmarks (including Arm assembly).
• Partner with kernel and firmware teams to ensure usable performance primitives (PMUs, perf_event interfaces).
