About The Role

As Performance & Reporting Lead , you’ll manage the delivery of high-quality performance reporting and production planning for SSE Renewables’ operational fleet of onshore wind, solar, and battery assets across GB, Ireland, and Southern Europe. Your work will ensure accurate KPIs, reliable forecasts, and compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations—supporting strategic decisions and driving operational excellence.

You will

• Lead and Inspire : Develop a collaborative Data & Reporting team, fostering innovation and continuous learning.
• Deliver Insightful Analysis : Provide high-value insights for Joint Venture boards, contractual payments, insurance claims, landowner settlements, and corporate PPAs.
• Shape Forecasting : Drive annual and five-year production plans, influencing renewable generation targets.
• Enable Growth : Integrate new wind, solar, and battery assets into reporting systems, ensuring smooth transitions.
• Evolve Reporting : Contribute to the Data & Reporting Strategy, identifying opportunities to automate, refine, or retire reports.

You have

• Proven experience in asset performance analysis and operational reporting—ideally in wind, solar, or battery energy storage sectors.
• Strong technical skills : MATLAB, SQL, Python, Power BI (HTML / Java experience is a plus).
• Familiarity with monitoring platforms such as SCADA.
• Excellent problem-solving ability and a solutions-focused mindset.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
