Description

We are looking to recruit a Performance Marketing Manager to join our Digital team based in Coventry.

What’s the opportunity?

The Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning and implementation of multi-channel acquisition activity across PPC, affiliates, display, YouTube, and paid social.

You will develop and manage channel strategies and spend plans, ensuring campaigns are executed to the highest standard and deliver strong commercial outcomes. Working closely with internal teams and agency partners, you’ll play a key role in optimising performance and driving omnichannel growth—including both online sales and footfall into stores—for one of the UK’s leading sofa retailers.

What does the role involve?
  • Manage the planning and delivery of digital marketing activity across UK markets.
  • Build clear promotional and non-promotional campaign plans, aligned with business trading priorities.
  • Plan, forecast, and manage spend across digital marketing channels (PPC, Paid Social, Display, YouTube, Affiliates) to maximise return on investment.
  • Track and understand omnichannel performance KPIs, with specific focus on driving both online conversion and in-store footfall.
  • Be accountable for performance monitoring, optimisation, and ensuring all spend drives measurable value.
  • Ensure key projects are being driven forward in PPC, Paid Social, Display, YouTube, and Affiliates.
  • Work with agencies and partners to deliver high-quality execution and continuous optimisation.
  • Identify new opportunities for growth, testing new platforms, formats, and targeting approaches.
  • Ensure all campaigns and creative executions align with brand guidelines and are delivered to a professional standard.
  • Collaborate with Ecommerce, Marketing, and agency teams to integrate campaigns into wider omnichannel plans.
  • Maintain a test-and-learn approach, providing regular insights and recommendations to stakeholders to improve ROI and drive down CPA.
Who are we looking for?
  • Proven track record in performance marketing management (4+ years), ideally within ecommerce or retail.
  • Hands‑on experience and working knowledge of Google Analytics, SA360, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and YouTube.
  • Strong understanding of omnichannel KPIs, with experience in driving footfall as well as online performance.
  • Experience in building promotional and non‑promotional campaign plans.
  • Commercially minded, with proven budget planning, allocation, and forecasting experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and data‑driven approach to decision making.
  • Ability to manage projects, prioritise effectively, and work to tight deadlines.
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in digital performance marketing.
  • Experience collaborating with agencies and cross‑functional in‑house teams.
  • Retail, ecommerce, or furniture/home sector experience highly desirable.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and keep stakeholders updated.
What’s in it for you?
  • Salary of £45,000.00 to £55,000.00 depending on Experience
  • 33 days holidays including bank holidays
  • Employee benefits platform – access to 100s of high street discounts and more – holiday discounts, gym discounts, cinema discounts, e‑vouchers, cashback and more!
