You will work across the full runtime stack—from interpreter and JIT to GC and runtime libraries—and drive measurable speedups through patches and rigorous validation.

The role requires hands-on C/C++ expertise, strong profiling skills, and a track record of performance improvements in language runtimes or VMs.

Competenze

• Strong C and C++ in a performance-critical codebase.
• Hands-on profiling with perf/PMU counters and flame graphs.
• Experience optimizing runtimes or JIT/VMs.

Mansioni

• Runtime profiling to identify bottlenecks across interpreter, JIT/AOT, and GC.
• Lead end-to-end optimisation of the execution engine.
• Collaborate with CPU architects and upstream projects to land patches.
