Job summary

British Para Table Tennis is seeking an exceptional leader to become its next Performance Director and guide the World Class Programme through Brisbane 2032 and beyond. Reporting to the CEO, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for the World Class Programme, creating the conditions for athletes and staff to thrive and achieve sustained international success.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in Olympic, Paralympic or other international high-performance sport.
• Record of delivering medal success or sustained performance improvement at world-class level.
• Ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong strategic, operational and financial leadership skills.
• Outstanding stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, from board to athlete level.
• A deep commitment to athlete welfare, safeguarding, inclusion and integrity.
• Table tennis experience is welcome but not essential.

The Role

Reporting to the CEO, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for the World Class Programme, creating the conditions for athletes and staff to thrive and achieve sustained success on the world stage.

British Para Table Tennis operates within Sport Org, a new multi-sport performance organisation that delivers world-class programmes on behalf of and in collaboration with national governing bodies, providing performance leadership, governance and shared services for UK Sport-funded programmes.

• Lead the long-term performance strategy and vision through to Brisbane 2032 and beyond

• Contract: Permanent, full time
• Salary: Circa £75,000 per annum
