Role : Performance DataAnalyst

Location : Southampton (hybrid - min 3 days in the office)

Salary : £40,000 - £50,000 DOE

We’re seeking an experienced Performance DataAnalyst to join our Operations team, where you’ll work closely with managers and team leads to develop and automate our data handling and business intelligence frameworks.

You will play a pivotal role in advancing our data automation and business intelligence capabilities. With a deep understanding of data architecture, warehousing, and security protocols, you’ll be instrumental in shaping how data is structured, governed, and leveraged across the organisation.

Performance DataAnalyst, the role
  • Lead the automation and optimisation of existing data workflows, while proactively identifying opportunities to design and implement new, scalable processes.
  • Extract, transform, and prepare data using tools such as SQL, Power BI, Power Query, ensuring it is optimised for reporting and analysis.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on organisational data, providing guidance and insight across departments.
  • Deliver clear, impactful data narratives tailored to diverse audiences, translating complex findings into actionable intelligence.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance and Operations teams to support data-driven initiatives, including advanced data transformations and mapping exercises.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of data governance frameworks, promoting best practices in data quality, compliance, and security.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with business needs and strategic goals.
Performance Data Analyst, the person
Essential
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a data-centric role such as Data Analyst or Reporting Analyst, with a strong track record of delivering automated, scalable data solutions.
  • Proven experience working with complex datasets from CRM platforms such as Zoho CRM, Dynamics 365 CE, Salesforce, or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with ERP data sources including SAP, NetSuite, or Dynamics 365 Business Central, and the ability to navigate their data structures effectively.
  • Proficient in SQL, with the ability to write, optimise, and automate queries for data extraction, transformation, and integration across multiple systems.
  • Hands‑on experience with Zoho Analytics, including building automated dashboards, reports, and data pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience working with platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or equivalent cloud‑based data solutions.
  • Strong grasp of data modelling, relational structures, and their impact on business operations and service delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.
Desirable
  • A degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field would be a plus.
  • Experience with automation tools and data pipelines would be advantageous.
