The role :

The Business Consultancy Team are a specialised team, focused on delivering valuable consulting solutions to priority businesses. This includes designing, building and delivering a Consultancy Proposition. The team is made up of Consultant’s that have expert knowledge who together will be able to help Practices improve their overall business performance and sustainability.

Using a range of knowledge, skills and tools they will support Partners and Practice leadership teams to develop the effectiveness of consulting within businesses with growth potential; they create a sharper focus on the things that matter, optimising the use of SME and Partnership resources to create a plan and generate productivity growth through increased efficiency and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing :

  • Create, build and deliver implementation plans, ensuring it is delivered consistently and effectively to the Partnership
  • Takes a project-based approach to transform the priority businesses over the short to medium term.
  • Responsible for developing a business change plan that reflects a comprehensive and accountable journey for the Partner Practice to achieve their goals.
  • Inspires and encourages appropriate strategy, operational activity and proceduree aimed at enhancing the quality of Partners business and their commercial performance.
  • Ensure risk and compliance requirements are met on client outcomes, with regular reviews
  • Deliver “model office(s)” for priority businesses
  • Provide an efficient and digital single point of contact for priority businesses
  • Complete Partner service and engagement strategy in alignment with overall SJP Partner “offer”
  • Understands L&D principles to drive better business outcomes, embedding these into business processes.

Essential Criteria

  • Experience in delivering business consultancy or transformation projects, including developing and implementing business change or improvement plans.
  • Strong commercial and strategic awareness, with the ability to translate insight and data into actionable business growth strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience of coaching or consulting with senior leaders to drive performance improvement.
  • Highly developed organisational and project management skills

Desirable Criteria

  • CMI Level 5 Professional Consultancy (or equivalent)
  • Experience working within a professional services environment
  • Knowledge of financial services or related industries, including familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements.
