Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a Performance Chef – Academy to lead the nutritional culinary provision for Tottenham Hotspur Academy teams. You will design menus with nutritionists, translate dietary guidance into meals, and deliver food that supports training, performance and recovery.

You will manage kitchen operations, lead staff, and collaborate with medical and performance teams to create a cooked‑to‑order dining experience for a multi‑national squad.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in professional sport or high-pressure environments.
• Strong working knowledge of performance nutrition and translating guidance into high‑quality food.
• Culinary expertise with scratch-cooking and international flavours.
• Excellent communication and leadership in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver performance and recovery‑focused menus aligned to training cycles and match demands.
• Communicate nutritional breakdown and purpose behind dishes to the Academy team.
• Tailor individual meals to dietary needs and performance goals.
• Lead and develop kitchen staff while managing hygiene and safety standards.
• Collaborate with medical, nutrition and performance staff to connect nutrition strategy to kitchen output.
