About The Role

Swanton Care is recognised for its positive and ambitious culture, with a firm commitment to enhancing the lives of the people we support. We are looking for a People Support Coordinator:

Shifts: Monday to Friday, office hours

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: This is a remote role, with some travel between services required

We do not offer sponsorship

  • Responsibilities:
    • Co-ordinate the onboarding of new joiners which includes completing relevant pre‑employment checks and verifying information.
    • Collate personnel file and issue to manager when completed.
    • Accurately enrol new joiners onto appropriate systems and notify relevant teams ensuring that everything is ready for their start date.
    • Monitor key compliance information such as right‑to‑work, alerting teams in a timely manner when renewal is required or documentation has expired.
    • Support compliance with Home Office Sponsor Licence by completing routine checks.
    • Complete documentation to support variation and changes to contracts of employment, notifying relevant teams when required.
    • Respond to queries in a timely manner.
    • Support the development of the onboarding process including system development.
    • Complete routine compliance activities such as annual night‑worker health assessments.
    • Produce reports when required.
    • Support training of the onboarding process when required.
    • Undertake file audits when required.
    • Support the benefits offer by managing the benefits platform and administration.
    • Support with annual pay review documentation.

About The Service

The People Support Team are dedicated to providing high‑quality support across the entire employee lifecycle. We manage all activities related to new starters including pre‑employment checks, onboarding and ensuring a smooth and compliant start for every colleague.

The team also supports ongoing employment processes such as compliance monitoring, benefits administration and contract variations.

Working collaboratively with the wider HR team and other departments, we play a key role in maintaining accurate records, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance while delivering an excellent service to colleagues and managers alike.
