Job summary

A well-established organisation is seeking an experienced People Partner to provide HR support on a long-term remote working contract. The role involves managing employee relations, advising on employment law, and fostering a positive workplace culture. Key responsibilities include updating HR policies, supporting managers with processes, and preparing reports for executive management. Ideal candidates will have a minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all employee relation matters are managed effectively.
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge on employment law and providing accurate advice.
  • Building key relationships with stakeholders.
  • Updating and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Providing support to managers in addressing absence management.
  • Collaborating with managers to support change management programmes.
  • Preparing reports for the Executive Management team.
  • Conducting exit interviews and identifying improvements.
  • Undertaking related HR projects.

Hamilton Woods Associates are proud to be partnering with a well-established organisation that delivers high-quality housing, resettlement, and support services. We are seeking an experienced People Partner to join the team on a long-term sickness cover contract.

This role offers remote working. As a key member of the People team, you will provide a proactive and professional HR business partnering service, supporting managers with employee relations, coaching on people-related matters, and helping to foster a positive culture that reflects and supports the organisation's values and goals.

Responsibilities of the People Partner include:
  • Ensuring all employee relation matters are managed effectively
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge on employment law and providing accurate advice on employment law matters
  • Building key relationships with stakeholders
  • Updating and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Providing support to managers in addressing absence management, conducting investigations and formal hearings
  • Collaborating with managers to support change management programmes
  • Preparing reports for the Executive Management team
  • Conducting exit interviews and identifying changes tat can improve employee experience
  • Undertaking related HR projects
