About Chainalysis Government Solutions

Chainalysis Government Solutions (CGS) is a wholly‑owned Chainalysis subsidiary that provides blockchain intelligence solutions, including technology, training, and services to law enforcement, defense, intelligence and regulatory customers across the U.S. Government.

Blockchain technology is powering a growing wave of innovation. Businesses and governments around the world are using blockchains to make banking more efficient, connect with their customers, investigate criminal cases and track transnational threats. As the adoption of blockchain technology grows, more and more organizations seek access to all this ecosystem has to offer. That’s where Chainalysis comes in. We provide complete knowledge of what’s happening on blockchains through our data, services, and solutions. With Chainalysis, organizations can navigate blockchains safely and with confidence.

The People Team at Chainalysis Government Solutions (CGS) is focused on aligning our People strategy with the company’s business priorities. As our first People Operations team member, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance, and high‑touch & timely service and delivery to our (all U.S.‑based) employees. You will leverage your expertise as a well‑rounded Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle, starting with recruitment all the way through to offboarding.

Our small but mighty HR team—consisting of the Head of HR, Head of Recruiting, and this People Operations Lead—builds and delivers the programs and systems necessary to support talent attraction, growth, and retention.

In this role, you will:
  • Own all benefits and leave administration and delivery, and make key strategy, process, and policy decisions in partnership with our Head of HR.
  • Be the primary point of contact for employees, and resolve their questions regarding key people‑related matters, including benefits, pay, time off, and leave administration.
  • Lead the operational aspects of our global onboarding activities, including related compliance tasks, in partnership with Corporate Functions stakeholders.
  • Analyze people data to generate insights, pinpoint trends, and recommend improvements to programs and processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in partnership with our Payroll Specialist.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Corporate Functions to resolve problems and identify areas to automate and improve service delivery.
  • Execute critical compliance activities as required by local or federal authorities.
  • Maintain data integrity across all people systems, conduct regular data audits, and correct inaccuracies.
  • Support strategic People team initiatives including annual compensation and performance reviews.
We’re looking for candidates who have:
  • The highest degree of integrity at all times
  • Significant experience supporting people operations and program delivery in a growing, fast‑paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Outstanding communication and problem‑solving abilities, and implement solutions using a data‑driven approach
  • Deep knowledge of and experience independently delivering employee benefits, leave, and payroll in the US.
  • Strong vendor management skills with a track record of driving accountability and results
  • Maturity & discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Experience with Google Suite, ADP, Bswift and willingness to further develop your skills
