Overview
We are a digitally transformed, tech-enabled security services company, where security meets innovation, and diversity thrives. We're looking for a passionate individual to join our dynamic People Team as our People Operations Partner. We're a growing business with big ambitions, not just commercially, but in how we support our people to do their best work. Our People team is small, close-knit and full of energy. We're here to make the employee experience brilliant - to turn our people vision into reality, every day. We don't just write policies; we help people live them.
As a growing business we need someone who enjoys trying and testing new things and is not afraid to get their hands dirty. We're looking for somebody passionate about delivering a great employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Partner with managers to support their teams, coaching on performance, communication, and leadership style
- Deliver day-to-day People Operations such as employee lifecycle changes, engagement, performance, payroll and benefits cycles
- Support delivery of the people strategy, turning ideas into action through impactful initiatives
- Gather feedback and data to spot opportunities for improvement, and use these insights to make practical recommendations
- Work on people projects (e.g. recognition, manager development, wellbeing) that bring our people vision to life
- Handle employee relations cases with professionalism and empathy, escalating complex issues when needed
- Ensure people processes and records are accurate, efficient and compliant
Qualifications
- Around 3-5 years' experience in an HR Generalist or People Partner role, ideally in a growing business
- Confidence coaching and supporting managers day-to-day
- Solid People Operations experience - you know how to keep processes running smoothly and compliantly
- A curious, proactive mindset: you enjoy improving things, not just maintaining them
- Strong communication and relationship skills - you're approachable, credible, and people trust you
- Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Experience using HR systems and people data to inform decisions
- CIPD Level 5 or 7 (or working towards it) is desirable, but mindset and capability matter most
Diversity & Inclusion
Equity, Diversity and Inclusion matter to us. We are keen to hear from candidates from a broad range of backgrounds and experiences and are excited about learning from you, as much as we know you can learn from us.
