Job description

We are looking for a warm, organised and people-focused Practice Operations & People Manager to support the smooth running of our GP practice. This middle‑management role combines HR support, day-to-day practice operations and high‑level administrative support, working closely with the COO, GP partners and practice teams.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities

  • Support HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, contracts, appraisals, sickness absence and staff wellbeing
  • Provide day‑to‑day HR advice and support to managers and partners
  • Support the smooth running of practice and office operations
  • Help coordinate rotas, leave and administrative workflows
  • Maintain HR policies, procedures and governance documentation in line with NHS and CQC requirements
  • Provide confidential administrative and organisational support to the COO and GP partners
  • Support meetings, correspondence and practice projects
  • Support with absences and payroll matters and submissions.
