Reports to: Group Managing Director
Location: London
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days a week within the office.
Salary: Competitive, based on experience.

As People Manager, you’ll manage the day‑to‑day delivery of people operations and culture initiatives across the group. You’ll work with department heads and leads to ensure that our people strategy is executed effectively – from onboarding and performance to engagement and retention.

This is a key operational and coaching role. You’ll ensure our frameworks are embedded, data is tracked, and managers are supported to bring out the best in their teams.

Core Responsibilities

People Operations & HR

  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle across multiple agencies.
  • Maintain HR systems, data accuracy, and compliance.
  • Partner with finance and operations on payroll, benefits, and headcount changes.
  • Support and coach managers on people‑related matters and employee relations.

Performance & Development

  • Run performance review cycles and ensure outcomes are tracked and actioned.
  • Partner with the Head of People to enhance training, progression, and development programmes.
  • Support data‑led decision making through engagement, turnover, and performance reporting.

Culture & Engagement

  • Lead on engagement initiatives, team events, and recognition programmes.
  • Collect and act on feedback to continuously improve employee experience.
  • Help build and maintain a culture that celebrates excellence, ownership, and growth.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Line manage People Executives or Coordinators (where applicable).
  • Partner closely with agency leadership to align people strategies with business goals.
  • Collaborate with the Head of People on group‑wide people strategy and continuous improvement.
What Success Looks Like:

6 Months:

  • You are fully embedded as a trusted partner to leadership and the wider team.
  • Internal marketing strategy is in place and engagement initiatives made live.
  • Training schedule launched and uptake measured.

12 Months:

  • Career progression frameworks are fully operational across departments.
  • Retention rates improved and directly linked to improved client delivery.
  • Recognised as the cultural and developmental driver within the Group.

24 Months:

  • Recognised as a culture leader, shaping the group’s reputation as one of the best places to work in e‑commerce and advertising.
  • Built a scalable people function capable of supporting rapid growth across multiple agencies.
  • Partnering on long‑term workforce planning, succession, and organisational design.
