Job description

PEOPLE EXPERIENCE PROJECTS LEAD | HIGH WYCOMBE

We’re looking for a fabulous People Experience Projects Lead to join our People Experience team and play a key role in delivering people experience projects across The Perfume Shop, focused on EVP, employee listening, engagement, wellbeing, and DEI.

You’ll work closely with the Head of People Experience, taking the lead in evolving The Perfume Shop’s employer brand and recommending how this is positively promoted via multiple channels and within the business.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  1. Consider how our EVP and employer brand social media can be communicated effectively, working with Internal Communications and Talent Acquisition & Social Media Advisor.
  2. Design an effective employee listening strategy, including surveys, listening groups, candidate experience, and exit data to understand sentiment and make recommendations to People Partners for improving experience, attraction, retention, and productivity.
  3. Deliver activities as part of The Perfume Shop’s DEI strategy across departments and the ASW Group.
  4. Plan wellbeing activities and awareness campaigns supporting mental, physical, social wellbeing, and monitor impact through data, partnering with Retail Trust.
  5. Innovate to keep The Perfume Shop’s employer value proposition competitive and attractive to talent.
  6. Establish relationships with wider AS Watson teams to access expertise and showcase best practices in employer branding, wellbeing, DEI, and engagement.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
  • Experience in DEI & Wellbeing activities, in a similar role.
  • Understanding of employee engagement theory and practical application to improve engagement.
  • Effective project planning skills, stakeholder engagement, and communication.
  • Curiosity and interest in using data and anecdotal evidence for improvements.
  • Retail experience is preferable but not essential.
