Your Mission
As our People & Culture Business Partner, youâll play a pivotal role in shaping how we grow â both through our people and our culture. Youâll partner with leaders to build and sustain a workplace where our teams feel empowered, connected, and inspired by our mission. From leading our recruitment strategy and ensuring we attract the best talent, to supporting performance, wellbeing, and engagement, youâll bring a balance of strategic thinking and handsâon delivery.
Reporting to the SLT, youâll collaborate across Operations, Tech, Marketing, and Finance. Youâll help us strengthen our people foundations as we scale â ensuring we maintain the agility, warmth, and values that make Years special, while growing in a sustainable, peopleâfirst way.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to key People & Culture initiatives â including engagement, learning, DE&I, wellbeing, and cultureâbuilding programmes.
- Provide pragmatic, peopleâcentred advice on employee relations, performance, and change management.
- Use people data and insights to inform strategy, spot trends, and continuously improve the employee experience.
- Champion our culture â ensuring that as we scale, we remain a valuesâdriven, highâperforming, and connected team.
- Lead recruitment and talent acquisition across all functions, ensuring we attract, hire, and onboard exceptional people aligned with our mission and values.
- Partner with leaders to forecast hiring needs, shape job profiles, and deliver a seamless, inclusive hiring experience.
- Coach and support hiring managers to build strong interview capability and embed equitable hiring practices.
- Act as a trusted partner to leaders and managers, driving engagement, performance, and development across their teams.
- Support organisation design and workforce planning that aligns with our growth and business goals.
What Youâll Bring
- Proven experience as a People Partner or HR Business Partner with handsâon experience leading recruitment and talent acquisition in a fastâpaced, scaling business.
- Strong understanding of full employee lifecycle management â from attracting and hiring talent to engagement, development, and retention.
- Upâtoâdate knowledge of UK employment law and best practice in people operations and recruitment.
- A proactive, solutionsâfocused mindset â able to balance immediate delivery with longâterm strategic priorities.
- Exceptional relationshipâbuilding, coaching, and influencing skills, with a high degree of empathy and commercial awareness.
- Dataâdriven approach â you use insights to guide decisions and measure impact.
