Help shape the future of an organisation with a mission to end poverty across North Wales.

At ClwydAlyn, we believe that everyone deserves a safe, warm home, access to good food, and a real sense of belonging in their community. Our mission - Together, we will end poverty - drives everything we do, from developing affordable, energy-efficient homes to building strong partnerships that create lasting social impact.

We’re looking for an Independent People Committee Member to join our ambitious and values-led organisation at an exciting time. With the launch of our new Corporate Plan, we’re focused on:

  • Ending homelessness
  • Ensuring residents have warm, affordable homes
  • Tackling food poverty
  • Giving residents a real voice in shaping services
  • Creating a workplace where our people feel supported, valued, and proud of what we do.

As part of our governance structure, the People Committee plays a crucial role in ensuring that our culture, values, and people practices align with our mission. You’ll help guide and challenge our approach to inclusion, leadership, performance, and employee well-being—helping us be the best we can be for both residents and colleagues.

We’re proud to be a top 30 UK employer for working families, with strong staff satisfaction and flexible, person-centred ways of working. As a Committee Member, you’ll join a talented and committed Board supported by a passionate executive team who share a clear purpose: to improve lives and end poverty in North Wales.

If you share our belief that housing is about more than bricks and mortar—and want to make a tangible difference through strong governance, leadership, and values—then we’d love to hear from you.
