A leading healthcare company in the UK seeks a People Business Partner to oversee HR operations across Europe and Canada. This hands-on role will involve managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and driving People processes. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, 8 years of HR experience in Europe, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in English and familiarity with HRIS systems like Workday are also required.
We are looking for a highly capable and resourceful People Business Partner to support our EUAA (Europe & Canada) operations. This role will serve as a key on‑ground People team presence managing People programs and employee relations across the region with a focus on the UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy as well as Canada. This is a hands‑on role combining People Team site leadership, local employment compliance and employee lifecycle support. You’ll act as the first point of contact for employee matters delivering consistent People practices across offices and remote teams. You’ll also liaise with global People centers of excellence in areas like Learning & Development, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, People Operations and Employee Relations.
Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes and biohazard material in the laboratory environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
