Overview

The Role

As a People Business Partner, you’ll be at the heart of our Mission Systems business, partnering with senior leaders to deliver our people strategy and drive transformation. This is a dynamic opportunity to influence culture, support leadership development, and champion inclusive practices in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment. You’ll be empowered to make a real difference to our people, our business, and your own career growth.

Day-to-day you’ll be:

  • Championing employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Developing and delivering people plans that build a healthy, high-performing culture.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders, including employee representatives and trade unions.
  • Coaching leaders to grow their impact and navigate complex employee matters.
  • Supporting internal communications and driving inclusive practices.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days in the office and days working from home.

Essential experience
  • Partnering in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
  • Broad generalist HR experience (e.g. talent acquisition, reward, employee relations, change management).
  • Working with HR systems (e.g. SuccessFactors) and shared services models.
  • Leading or supporting business change projects.
  • Experience in technology or engineering sectors is a plus, but not essential.
Qualifications

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. The successful candidate will be eligible to start on Standard (BPSS) security clearance but will need to obtain Security Check (SC) once in post.
