Job summary

Spire Clare Park Hospital in Farnham is seeking a proactive People Advisor to join our HR team. You will work closely with the Senior People Business Partner and hospital leadership to deliver a first-class HR service focused on wellbeing, engagement and performance.

Key responsibilities include advising managers, supporting employee relations cases, coordinating recruitment and onboarding, and contributing to learning and development across the hospital.

Qualifications

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience as a People Advisor or HR Generalist.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Confident handling of employee relations matters.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide practical HR advice and guidance to managers and colleagues.
  • Support employee relations cases including absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance matters.
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and induction activity.
  • Support learning and development initiatives across the hospital and manager capability.
  • Contribute to local people projects and wider HR initiatives to support culture and colleague experience.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
  • Build trusted relationships with managers and departmental leaders.
