Autotrader is seeking a highly organised People Administrator to join the People & Culture team in Manchester. You will manage data and documentation across the employee lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality while supporting reporting and system improvements.

In this role,you’llsupport activity across the full employee lifecycle, from new starters and changes through to promotions and leavers.You’llhelp keep our People systems up to date, prepareaccurateemployee documentation, respond to day-to-day People queries and support the wider team with reliable reporting and data checks.
You’llbe someone who iscomfortable working with confidential information, confident using Excel and able to spot when somethingdoesn’tlook right. Whetheryou’remaintainingemployee records, checking data, producingreportsor helping improve a process, accuracy and care will be at the heart of what you do.
You’ll maintain high data quality through audits and checks, generate reports using Excel formulas and pivot tables, and support managers and the wider People team with reliable, actionable information. You’ll also help identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and improve system efficiency, contributing to continuous improvement across the People function.

Desirable
During our application process, you will be asked two questions to help us learn more about you and how you align with our values. These will be used as part of our selection criteria, to determine if we progress your application further.
We’re offering a salary of £27,000 – £30,000, plus an additional 10% of your salary awarded to you in shares each year. These awarded shares will become yours in yearly instalments over the next three years, and you can choose to either sell them or keep them as shares.
You’ll have 28 days holiday per year, and that’s in addition to bank holidays and half day closures on Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
