An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Administrator to join our People Services team in Exeter. This full‑time permanent position offers a competitive salary of £27,000 – £28,000 with excellent benefits.

About the role

This role is central to providing excellent HR support and customer service to employees, managers and stakeholders across the business. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for HR-related queries ensuring a professional, efficient and supportive service at all times.

What you'll be doing
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR queries via phone, email and internal systems.
  • Provide accurate and timely advice on HR policies, procedures and processes.
  • Maintain and update employee records ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Support the administration of onboarding and induction processes.
  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Generate HR reports and maintain HR databases.
  • Escalate complex queries to the People Experience Advisors or relevant specialist teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and customer service delivery.
What we are looking for
