Job summary

Aviva Master Trust (AMT) is seeking a Pensions Governance Manager to support the AMT Trustee and Committees, ensuring compliance with pensions legislation and Pensions Regulator requirements. You will drive governance improvements, oversee key supervisory documents, and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate information for decision-making.

Working with the Governance Lead, you will deliver MI and governance documentation, manage the Forward Planner and Action

Qualifications

• Member oriented and a subject matter expert in DC pensions governance and The Pensions Regulator.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy with a focus on quality and timeliness.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience of managing and presenting to senior stakeholders and acting as a trusted adviser.
• Good interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload and work effectively with others including Trustee Directors.
• PMI or other pensions qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement a robust governance framework in line with TPR requirements and industry best practice.
• Drive key governance and supervisory documents, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders for timely information and decision-making.
• Support delivery of high-quality MI and governance documentation enabling the AMT Board and Committees to achieve strategic objectives.
• Contribute to Forward Planner/Calendar and Action Log for Trustee Board/Committees and participate in governance meetings.
• Provide guidance across governance and regulatory matters, including projects by outsourced partners and TPR engagement.
